GIUSEPPE BONASIA

Profile

Giuseppe Bonasia (born April 7, 1994, in Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy) is a Director of Photography. He studied at the prestigious Experimental Center of Cinematography (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) in Milan, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of Luca Robecchi.

Throughout his career, Giuseppe has traveled around the world from Dubai, Georgia, Amsterdam, Morocco and many other destinations, working on international productions and collaborating with major global brands such as Netflix, Adidas, Red Bull, Google, KFC, Enel, Lavazza, Sky and more.

Visual Storytelling & Cinematic Expertise

From a very young age, Giuseppe was fascinated by the power of images.
Lights and lenses quickly became his favorite toys, tools through which he could explore and interpret the world.
By the age of thirteen, he was already experimenting, building his own camera rigs to move the camera authentically and dynamically, in pursuit of a visual language capable of conveying emotion and impact.

From handheld cameras to remote systems and dollies, the curiosity that has always driven him led Giuseppe to explore every aspect of the set.
Today, that same curiosity and his constant aesthetic pursuit make him a cinematographer admired not only for his technical mastery but also for his visual taste and narrative sensitivity.

Mission

Light, camera, lenses, and technical tools are all instruments in the service of storytelling. Add collaboration with directors, producers, creative teams, and the entire crew, and the picture is complete.

Calm, and positive working atmosphere is just as important, because the best images are born when everyone on set feels connected, respected, and creatively aligned.

The goal is always the same: to create each frame so that it is memorable, narrative, and emotionally powerful.
